Here are some of the questions we get asked the most by people who want
to know more about APAC. If you have a question, please
e-mail us and we will respond as
quickly as we can.
What does APAC do to stand for
righteousness before local, state, and federal governments?
First, APAC prays. We believe in the power of prayer because we believe
the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to
our cry (Psalm 34:15).
APAC monitors Local, State, and Federal legislative bodies and
politicians to hold their actions up to a Biblical standard of
righteousness. When legislation or politicians fail to live up to
Biblical precepts, we make our supporters aware of it as quickly as
possible so that they can take action.
APAC is vocal. We have found that the popular adage "the squeaky wheel
gets the grease" rings true, particularly in politics. APAC supporters
do not hesitate to call, write, or e-mail their representatives, or to
show up at public hearings and respectfully voice their opposition to
unrighteous legislation and policies in a cogent and articulate manner.
We believe that the wisdom of God is not only pure, but also reasonable
and persuasive (James 3:17).
Through timely e-mail alerts to supporters who have subscribed to our
e-mailing list, we inform concerned citizens of current issues and
encourage them to take action by contacting their legislative
representatives. Not only do we provide contact information for
politicians, but we also supply pertinent talking points with
well-researched facts that can be used to frame our position and
persuade others. APAC also provides elected officials with
position papers and memos on issues of concern.
How does APAC inform its supporters?
APAC primarily utilizes e-mail and its website to
share pertinent information and facts amongst its supporters.
Further, we strongly encourage our supporters to "spread the word"
throughout their own spheres of influence that may be untouched by APAC
directly.
What type of organization is APAC, and how is it financed?
APAC is a non-incorporated, informal association of Christians who take
their responsibility as American citizens seriously.
As a non-incorporated association, APAC does not solicit donations.
Does APAC do speaking engagements?
Yes! Bill Carlson and Stephen Hayford are available to speak at
churches or other community organizations. To schedule a speaker,
please send a request via
e-mail.

How do I find out who my elected
officials are and contact them?
